Message From the Couple
Hi everyone! First of all, thank you so much for being our friends and family and loving Ro and I all of these years. 9 years later and we’re GETTING MARRIEDDDD!! (Ceremoniously. Legally, we did that part but it’s the celebration with all of you that we’re really looking forward to.) We are so excited to celebrate with all of you in Mexico this year, whether you decide to come or not- we just wanted to say that we love you all very much and can’t wait to celebrate all this love, all inclusive vacations, and friendship with each of you in spirit or irl. Okay! Don’t want to make this too too long obviously you all know I work in the travel industry so if you want to book your travel at the same time as us I'm happy to add you all to our bookings and see if I can swing some discounts, otherwise our planners at Destify have a whole team of people that can help with travel and booking at the resort with us. Ummm any other important info? Not that I can currently think of. If you need me or Ro you have our numbers but please feel free to direct questions to my MOHs Sara or Jaycee too so they feel useful. About Us
Our story began in October 2016, when we first met at a Halloween party where Jerni claims Rolando ran away from her. In April 2017 we re-met with no one running away this time. We went on our first official date playing mini golf and, over the next year, we fell in love. In July 2018, we went on our first major trip together to the waterfalls of Iceland and pubs of Ireland. Just a few months later we were basically (and unbeknownst to Rolando) living together.
Since then, we have built a life full of adventures. From snorkeling in Belize to bringing in New years in Paris, our Jerni (journey lol) together has taken us to many incredible places. In May 2021, we got legally married in a quiet courthouse ceremony. Then in 2024 during a trip to Spain and Portugal, Rolando proposed on our anniversary, and now, we’re excited to celebrate our marriage with all of you.
We are thrilled to invite you to join us on May 16, 2026 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, as we celebrate our wedding surrounded by the friends and family who have been part of our story. We look forward to sharing this special moment with you and making even more memories together.

My very best friend since I was 12 years old and the coolest woman I have ever had the privilege to know. Having Sara as my MOH was a no-brainer.
2 of my favorite Sara stories:
1. We were running around Spain together and I told her I was going to Iceland the following month and I wished she was coming. She opened up a credit card and booked it, same day. A spontaneous wonder of a woman.
2. When she was out walking her chihuahua Beans in the mountains she was attacked by a pack of rabid coyotes and she single handedly fought them off to save her dog. Sara, the brave badass that you are.
To know her is to love her and when this wedding goes off without a hitch please know it is because of her!

Everyone says a sister is a built in best friend, I can say that is 100% the case with mine. Jaycee is one of the funniest, most savage, loyal, and unserious people on the planet.
Growing up, Kat and I bullied her relentlessly but a little trauma makes for a great personality later in life so, honestly, she's welcome for contributing to her sense of humor.
It's actually impossible to pick a favorite Jaycee story because some of them are mildly less than legal or absolutely not appropriate for my grandparents to read about so I will simply tell you all how phenomenal I think that she is. And how proud I am to be her sister and have her with me on my wedding day.

If you need a best friend to drop everything and travel the globe, someone to dress up as Justin Bieber and sing at strangers on the tube, someone to answer the phone within 3-19 business days with stories best not shared out loud, she's always going to be your girl.
Fun fact, Kat was the first person I ever told when I knew I loved Rolando and it's so fitting she's by my side on our wedding day. Honoured to have Kat as my Matron of honour (spelled the UK way bc god only knows she'll never spell it right again).

Welcome Party (Sunset Cruise)

For everyone arriving early: On Thursday we will be doing a sunset boat cruise out of the harbor. Meet in the hotel lobby by 4:15 PM to get transport to the dock- otherwise meet us at the above address no later than 4:45 PM (boat departure: 5 PM). Please contact Jerni or Sara to confirm your spot on the boat. Dress code: Cocktail, light jacket recommended. Boat Details: Dinner and drinks provided, all wedding speeches will be conducted during the sunset cruise and not at the wedding itself.

Informal Friends and Family dinner before the wedding day. If you are wanting to spend some time with us before the chaos of the wedding day we are having an informal dinner in lieu of a rehearsal dinner at one of the resort restaurants Friday night. Once again, please text to let us know if you would like to join and we will arrange to have seating saved. This meal is part of the all-inclusive benefits of the resort but the bride and groom will be covering all tip costs for the night and would love to see you.
